130th CHURCH HOMECOMING
Welcome to our church’s 130th anniversary celebration! We would like to welcome the Cody Roberts family who will be singing and Evangelist Jon Birt will be preaching during the morning worship service. Following the morning worship service, lunch will be provided. Everyone is invited to stay for lunch. We will not have a Sunday evening service. Also, we will have inflatables for the children.
SENIOR ADULT VISITATION
The Senior Adult Visitation scheduled for this week has been cancelled.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
We will be observing two of the New Testament ordinances on Sunday, October 25th during our morning worship service.
1st: Lord’s Supper
2nd: Baptismal Service - if you have recently been saved, please make plans to participate in our baptismal service that morning. Also, please remember to and bring a change of undergarments. Be sure to sign up at the welcome center if you plan to be baptized that day.
TRIPLE C’S LUNCHEON
The Triple C’s (ages 18-40) will meet for lunch at the Parkway House on Sunday, October 25th right after the morning worship service. Please sign up at the Welcome Center.
PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH
Don’t forget that the month of October is Pastor Appreciation Month!!! Please be in prayer for our pastors. Let’s show them how much we love and appreciate them throughout the month of October by sending them cards of encouragement, goodies, gift cards to restaurants, etc.!
HARVEST JUBILEE SERVICES
Mark your calendars and make plans to attend our annual Harvest Jubilee Sunday, November 1st - Wednesday, November 4th , 2026. Guest speakers will be Bro. Larry Winkler, Bro. Daniel Buchanan and Bro. Heath Williams. Posters are available at the Welcome Center. Also, please be in prayer as to what the Lord has in store for these special services.
DESSERTS NEEDED FOR HARVEST JUBILEE
We are in need of desserts for our upcoming Harvest Jubilee. If you would be interested, please sign up at the Welcome Center. We will need them on Sunday, November 1 by 2pm in the upper fellowship hall. Thank you!
MEN’S 4TH ANNUAL CLAY PIGEON SHOOT
The Men’s Ministry is having a Clay Pigeon Shoot on Saturday, November 14th hosted at the Catawba Valley Wildlife Club at 2705 Lynn Mountain Road, Vale, NC. Please be on site for sign in and safety briefing at 8am. BBQ Lunch will be provided. Dr. Ralph Sexton Jr. will be our special speaker. Please sign up at the Welcome Center.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES
For October, the suggested items for your Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are: A Letter & Photo. A brief letter and a picture of yourself is often the most valued part of children’s shoeboxes!
Remember: Please bring your filled OCC shoeboxes to the Welcome Center or the OCC bin no later than Sunday, November 22nd.

The Senior Stars’ homemade apple butter is available for purchase at the church office. The cost is $7.00 a pint and $4.00 for half pints. If you would like to purchase any, please contact the church office Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm. These make great gifts! Also, we have Happy Home Flavoring, Rada Knives, and Unkers for sale. You may also sign up at the Welcome Center to reserve yours today.
ATTRACTION BOOKS ARE IN!
Our 2026–2027 Attraction Books have arrived. Please stop by the church office to pick up your books so you can begin selling and supporting our ministry. They are $20 each. Thank you for helping us reach our goals!
