HEE-HAW PRACTICE
For everyone in the up-coming Hee Haw Show, you will have practice TONIGHT after evening worship service and Friday, February 20th at 6pm. Practices will be in the upper fellowship hall.
SENIOR STARS ROAD TRIP
The Senior Adults will be going on a Road Trip on Wednesday, February 18th to Heritage Keepers Service at Trinity Baptist Church in Asheville. Dr. Ralph Sexton, Jr. will be preaching and the Roger’s Family will be singing. You will be leaving the church at 8:15am. Lunch will be provided. Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you plan to attend.
HOBO SUPPER & HEE-HAW SHOW
Everyone is invited to join the Senior Stars for a fun night of food, fellowship and entertainment at our “Hobo Supper & Hee Haw Show” on Saturday, February 21st at 4pm in the Upper Fellowship Hall. Enjoy a classic hobo supper followed by a talent show featuring members of our church family. It’s sure to be a night filled with laughter and great fellowship. We will taking donations at the door, and all proceeds will go toward the Senior Stars Ministry.
GIRLS FOR JESUS (ages 8-16)
We invite all young ladies ages 8-16 for our Bible Study. We will meeting right after the morning service TODAY -12-3:30pm in the upper fellowship hall. Lunch will be provided. We look forward to seeing you all!
BREAKFAST FOR DINNER
The WGBC youth invite you to join us for Sunday Night Breakfast on Sunday, February 22nd, after our 4pm evening worship service in the upper fellowship hall! The price will be $15.00 a plate which includes - Pancakes w/topping, Choice of Bacon or sausage, Biscuit w/gravy or apple butter, scrambled eggs, and drink. All proceeds will go to our Youth Ministry.
DESSERTS NEEDED FOR LADIES CONFERENCE
Anyone interested in making desserts for the Ladies conference Saturday, February 28th, please sign up at the Welcome Center. We are in need of cookies, cakes, pies, cupcakes (nothing that needs to be refrigerated). All desserts need to be here by Friday, February 27th by noon in the upper fellowship hall. Please do NOT cut the desserts. Thank you.
HOME-MADE AFGHAN RAFFLE
Mrs. Wanda Stewart has donated a one-of-a kind, handcrafted afghan made with love, to be raffled off. Tickets will be sold for $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. You can purchase your tickets at the Welcome Center. The raffle will end at the Ladies Conference. All proceeds will go to the Senior Adult Ministry.
LADIES FALL RETREAT & BIBLE STUDY AT RIDGECREST
We are planning a weekend fall retreat & Bible study on October 2nd -4th for all Winkler's Grove Ladies. We are going to Ridgecrest which is located in Black Mountain. Our plans are to leave on Friday, October 2nd at 3:30pm and return Sunday, October 4th 5th by 9:30 am for Sunday services.
This weekend will be filled with memory-making fun, laughter, sharing and growing together as we learn more about our Lord.
Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you are interested in attending. If you would like someone to room with you, we will help to find you a compatible roommate (let Kim know).
A $35 deposit/payment toward balance will be required to be paid by Sunday, March 29th to reserve your spot. Half of your balance will need to be paid by June 15th. Balance PAID in full by August 30th.
Plan ahead and make payments monthly by placing your payments in an event envelope and place it in the Ministry box at the Welcome Center.
Your room total includes breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday, as well as dinner on Saturday at Ridgecrest Cafeteria. You will need to bring money for dinner on Friday night and lunch Saturday.
1 person per room (2 queen beds)-$265 for entire weekend
2 people per room (2 queen beds)-$135 per person for entire weekend
3 people per room (2 queen beds)-$100 per person for entire weekend
4 people per room (2 queen beds)-$80 per person for entire weekend

REMINDER: The suggested items for your Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for February are: Fashion Accessories.*Those wishing to give a monetary donation in lieu of filling a shoebox may do so by placing either cash (preferred) or check in to the white Event envelope and dropping it into the Church Ministry Box located in the Welcome Center. Checks should be written to WGBC, please write it’s for O.C.C. on the envelope. Thank you!
