ATTRACTION BOOKS ARE IN!
Our 2025–2026 Attraction Books have arrived. Seniors, please stop by the church office to pick up your books so you can begin selling and supporting our ministry. They are $20 each. Thank you for helping us reach our goals!
SENIOR ADULTS MAKING APPLE BUTTER
The Senior Adults will be making Apple Butter on Tuesday, August 26th at 7:30am in the upper fellowship. If you are able to come and help we will be peeling apples - so please bring an apple peeler or paring knife. Thanks~
LADIES RETREAT PAYMENT INFORMATION
Ladies attending the Ladies Fall Retreat in September - your total balance is due by Sunday, August 31st. Please place your money in an envelope and place it in the church ministry box. Also, please fill out an Adult Trip Form, which are located at the Welcome Center. Please complete form and place in the church ministry box at the Welcome Center.
CHURCH FAMILY SUPPER-EVERYONE IS INVITED!
The Senior Stars will be hosting a “Church-Wide Family Supper” on Wednesday, September 10th from 5pm-6:15pm in the upper fellowship hall.
This is a fundraiser for the Senior Stars. Please come have supper with us before service. The cost will be $7.00 for adults, $3.50 for ages 5-10 and 4 and under are Free. Also, donations will be taken at the door. This month’s menu will be Home-made Chicken Pie, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans & Desserts. We will be serving chicken nuggets for the kids. We will also be selling whole chicken pies for $12.00 each - please sign up at the welcome center if you would like to purchase a whole chicken pie.

If you would like to donate items for the church family supper that will be on Wednesday, September March 10th, please sign up at the welcome center. Items will need to be dropped off at the welcome center! Desserts will need to be delivered to the upper fellowship hall on Wednesday, September 10th by 2pm. Thank you!
LADIES SEPTEMBER FELLOWSHIP
All ladies are welcome to come to our fellowship on Thursday, September 4th in the Upper fellowship hall. Also, if you would like to sign up to bring finger foods, desserts or drinks, please sign up at the Welcome Center. Hope to see you there.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES
The suggested items for your Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for August are: School Supplies. Don’t miss out on those Back-to-School sales or tax-free weekends!
LADIES FALL MAKE & TAKE AT THE GROVE
The ladies will be having a “Make & Take” Fall craft night on Friday, September 19th 6:30 pm in the Upper Fellowship hall. Cost will be $12.00 each. All supplies will be provided. A sample will be at the Welcome Center. Please sign up & place your money in the event envelope and place it in the church ministry box (white box) located at the welcome center. If you can bring a snack or drink, sign up for that also. We have a limited number of slots. Sign up and pay as soon as possible. We look forward to a fun night of crafting with everyone!

Thank you so much for the care and compassion shown to our family during the passing of Glenn Wilson. While he was unable to attend church due to failing health - he watched the Live-stream faithfully. He especially enjoyed the frequent visits by Beverly & David Bliss.
The top-notch staff at WGBC deserves to be bragged on. Everyone’s kindness will not be forgotten. Thank you again for being the hand and feet of God.
