Happy Mother’s Day!
We would like to say, “Happy Mother’s Day” to all the mothers here today! We will be honoring the following during our morning worship service:
1.The Oldest Mother.
2.The Mother with the most children present.
3.The Mother with the youngest baby.
SENIOR ADULT FUN WEEK
Please sign up at the Welcome Center to let us know which one you will be attending.
SENIOR ADULTS HONOR DAY
Senior Adults Honor Day will be Sunday, May 18th. We will be having lunch for all the Senior Adults. If you plan to attend the Luncheon that day, please sign up at the Welcome Center.
CALLING ALL GIRLS AGES 8 - 16 YEARS OLD
You’re invited to a special luncheon just for you on Sunday, May 25th in the lower fellowship hall from 12pm - 3:30pm. Join us for a sweet time of fellowship, food, and fun as we dive into God’s Word together. Come be encouraged, make new friends, and grow in your faith. We can’t wait to see you there. Lunch will be provided. If you are interested, please sign up at the Welcome Center.
GRADUATES
Our church would like to recognize our graduates, if you are graduating from High School or College this year, please sign up at the Welcome Center. We will be honoring you on Sunday, June 2nd.
ITEMS NEEDED - A.S.A.P.
The Care Team has a container in the vestibule to collect snacks for families in ICU waiting rooms, Cancer and Hospice facilities. If you would like to contribute snacks it would be greatly appreciated! The Care Team will take care of delivering them. Items needed now are: individual bags of chips and Little Debbie’s or individual bags of cookies.
MEMBER’S CANCER LIST
Please continue to lift up our “Church Member’s Cancer List” in prayer. They are: Rick Abee, Barbara Abernathy, Faye Brittain, Ralph Davis, Jewel Fields, Janette Good, Barbara Huffman, Bill Kistler, Jeff Myers, Terry Petty, Wayne Price, Kay Ramirez, Jerry Richardson, Carla Smith, Connie Stephens, Harold Wright Sr.,and Charlotte Young.
TRIPLE C’S MOVIE NIGHT FUNDRAISER
The Triple C’s ministry is hosting a “Movie Night” fundrasier on Friday, June 6th from 7pm - 9pm on the church lawn! Please bring lawn chairs and come watch a movie with us. If you plan to attend, please sign up at the Welcome Center. Everyone is invited. Donations will be accepted. There will be candy and drinks available for purchase.
We are in need of donations of canned drinks and candy for the event. If you can bring any of the items, please sign up at the Welcome Center. All food items need to be dropped off by Sunday May 25th and can be placed in the basket labeled Triple C’s located in the Welcome Center.
All proceeds will go to the Triple C’s Ministry at the Grove.

The suggested items for your Operation Christmas Child shoe-boxes for May are: Personal Care Items. *Helpful Tip: You may remove items from their packaging before putting them in your shoe-box.

Kids ages 3 to 14 are welcome to come join us on Sunday, May 18th at 3:30pm in the lower fellowship hall for an exciting “Treasure Hunt Adventure” as part of our VBS celebration! We will search for clues, crack secret codes, and uncover surprises–but the greatest treasure of all is YOU, just the way God made you! Get ready for some unforgettable fun! Make sure to sign up. X marks the spot, come find the treasure God sees in YOU!

Thank God for putting me in such or kind and loving church. I am so blessed to be in a church that so love’s me. Thank you, Pastor Paul & Pastor Dean for the the hospital visits ad prayers. The care team for all the beautiful cards and sweet messages from all of you it has all been a big encouragement to me. The ladies that the sent me a beautiful baskets with a beautiful book and goodies and all that each one of you have done for me in my healing process. But most of all, the love and prayers during my healing process. I am healing slowly but surely. I am so thankful and blessed by my Jesus Christ the Great Healer. My mothers surgery for the spinal stenosis on her neck is scheduled for May 7. Please pray for a successful surgery, no complications, a smooth recovery and that her balance and ability to walk and use her arms will be restored. Thank you, Michelle Brewer (Gwynne’s daughter)
