WEDNESDAY SUPPERS
The Wednesday Suppers will be back for the month of February. The Senior Adults will be preparing Wednesday night suppers for a fund-raiser. So there is no need to rush home to fix supper, just come and let us cook for you and we will even do the dishes! The menu for Wednesday, February 8th will be: Baked Spaghetti & Salad, garlic Bread, Dessert and Drink. It will be $5.50 for adults and $3.00 for children 10 and under. The suppers will be at 5pm - 6:30pm.

If you would be interested in making a dessert for the Wednesday Night Suppers, please sign up at the Welcome Center. Thank you~

 

ITEMS STILL NEEDED
There are still a few items the Seniors are needing for their Wednesday Night Suppers. If you would like to donate any items, please sign up at the Welcome Center. We need all items here by Tonight.

 

NIGHT OF CRAFTS & SCRAP BOOKING
The next time of crafts and scrap booking will be on Friday, February 10th from 6pm - ? in the basement of the fellowship hall. All are welcome to come. Please bring snacks and or a drink. No child care will be provided.

 

CHURCH-WIDE FELLOWSHIP
We will be having a church-wide fellowship on Sunday, February 19th following our evening worship service. We ask that you please bring any kind of finger food such as: meatballs, sandwiches, chips, cakes, cookies, desserts, and more. Just any kind of goodies. Please sign up at the Welcome Center and let us know what you plan to bring that night.

CHILDREN’S EVENT (K - 6th GRADES)
Children Kindergarten - 6th grades) will be going to Udderly Delicious for Pizza, Putt-Putting & Ice Cream on Friday, February 24th. We will leave the church at 6pm and return at 10pm. The cost is $5.00. Please sign up at the Welcome Center. Also, you can place your money in an envelope and place it in the Church Ministry Box. Don’t forget 1st child goes full price and the rest go ½ price.

 

YOUTH MOVIE & GAME NIGHT
The Youth 7th - 12th Grades will be having a Movie and Game Night on Saturday, February 25th from 6pm - 10:30pm in the basement of the fellowship hall. Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you plan to attend. There is no charge for this event!

 

CHURCH-WIDE HOBO SUPPER & MOVIE

The Senior Adults will be sponsoring a Church-Wide Hobo Supper and Movie night on Friday, March 2nd, 2012. Supper will be from 5pm - 6:30pm in the upper fellowship hall. The menu will be Pinto Beans, Slaw, Cornbread, Home-made Soup. Following you will be seeing the movie “Courageous” at 7pm in the church. There will be no charge, but money donations will be accepted at the door. This is a fund-raiser for our Senior Adults. So make plans now to come out and support our Seniors!

 

CAMP SONSEEKERS 2012
It is time to start planning for “Camp Sonseekers” 2011 for Kindergarten to 6th Grades. It will be Friday, August 3rd - Sunday, August 5th at Hickory Cove Bible Camp. The cost will be $50.00. A $10.00 deposit is due by Sunday, March 18th for EVERY child attending. There are limited number of spaces, so please sign up early and get your deposit in. Also, signing up for camp is different again this year - GIRLS have a pink sign up sheet and the BOYS have a blue sign up sheet, please make sure you sign them up on the correct sheet. Below is the list of when the payments are due:
1st payment is due Sunday, April 22nd
2nd payment is due May 20th
3rd payment June 17th
and FINAL PAYMENT is due: July 22nd.
Please sign up at the Welcome Center and you can place your money in an envelope and place it in the Church Ministry Box. Don’t forget, 1st child is full price and each child after that is ½ price, but everyone has to pay the $10.00 deposit up front. Any questions, please see Devin Hildebrand or Benny Stephens.

 

SINGLES/SINGLES AGAIN
We are in the process of updating our Singles/Singles phonetree list. If you are 35 years and older and would like to receive messages about singles/singles again events, please sign up at the Welcome Center. Thank you!

 

CHURCH BUSINESS LIST
We are in the process of updating our Church Members Business List. If you are an electrician, a handy-man, insurance agent, computer technician, or any kind of business you would like to be mentioned on this list, please sign up at the Welcome Center. Please make sure and put your name, business name, and phone number. We will only be putting the names on the list that are on the sign up sheet, so if you are on there from last time and you will need to and sign up again. Thank you!

 

VBS WORKERS NEEDED
It is time to start planning for Vacation Bible School. It will be June 10th -14th. Anyone interested in helping in any way with VBS, please sign up at the Welcome Center.

 

CRAFT ITEMS NEEDED FOR VBS 2012
We are needing the following items donated for our VBS Crafts.
*Round Oatmeal Boxes with lids - 180z or 42 oz
*Buttons - any size and color
*Adhesive Contact Paper - any color, anykind
*Old CD’s & DVD’s
*Wiggly Eyes - any size
*Embellishments - such as stickers, foam stickers, anything religious, etc.
*Paper Towel Roll - Center (NOT toilet paper centers)
