SENIOR ADULT’S CHRISTMAS EVENT - DATE CHANGE
The Senior Adults will be going to see lights at Tanglewood Golf Course.  We will be leaving the church at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 13th.  We will be going by Mrs. Hanes Moravian Cookie Store.  You will be able to buy cookies.  Then we will be going to Clemmons to the Family Restaurant Kitchen for dinner, and then on to see the Christmas lights.  Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you are going.  We have to know how many to plan for.  Thank you!
 
NEW LIBRARY BOOKS
We have added lots of Amy Edwards books to the library. If you are interested, stop by and check them out. Thank you, Margaret Powers, for getting them set up in the library.

PREGNANCY CARE CENTER - BABY BOTTLE FUNDRAISER
Our annual baby bottle event for the Pregnancy Care Center is going on now.  The bottles are available at the Welcome Center.  Please fill your baby bottle with your loose change.  The bottles will need to be turned back in by the end of December 2022.  Any questions, please see Marilyn & Steve Roberts.  Thank You!
 
DELIVERY HELPERS NEEDED
Anyone interested in helping deliver the shut-in fruit bags on Thursday, December 22nd , please be here at 1pm.  Please sign up at the Welcome Center.
 
MEN NEEDED
We are needing men to help put Christmas Treat bags together on Saturday, December 24th  at 8am in the basement of the Church Office.  If you can help, please just meet that morning.
 
SPECIAL CHRISTMAS SERVICE
Just a Reminder!  We will be having a “Special Christmas Worship Service on TUESDAY, December 20th with The Nunn Sisters!   There will be NO service on Wednesday, December 21st.
 
MEMBER’S CANCER LIST

HIP HIP HooWray Paint Party
All ladies are welcome to join us for a Painting Party on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 6 till 8ish in the Upper Fellowship hall.  “Hip Hip HooWray” will be coming to  us!  You get to choose a 22" design to paint and take home with you that night.  The cost per design is $53.50.  Make checks payable to WGBC.  If you are interested go by the welcome center to look at the designs and sign up for the design of your choice.  You can place your money in an envelope and put it in the Church Ministry Box located in the welcome center.  The deadline to choose and pay will be Wednesday, January 4th!  No orders will be taken after January 4th.
 
SENIOR ADULTS PIGEON FORGE TRIP
It is time to start planning for the Smokey Mountain Gospel Jubilee trip to Pigeon Forge.  It will be Wednesday, March 15th - Friday, March 17th, 2023.    A $100.00 deposit will be due by Sunday, January 8th, 2023  with balance due by February 12th!  Please sign up at the Welcome Center and you can place your money in an envelope and place it in the Church Ministry Box. The cost of the trip will be $235.00 for seniors and $325.00 for non-seniors or non-members.
 
HO! HO! HO! SECRET SANTA SISTER
HO! HO! HO! 
To those participating in Secret Santa Sister~
Please place your gifts on the table in the library. It is so much fun getting cute, useful and thoughtful gifts. Make sure all gifts have the First and Last name of your secret sister on the gift. DO NOT put your name, yet, it is a SECRET!   The last REVEAL gift should be given by Sunday, December 25th or Tuesday, Dec 20th by giving your Secret Sister her final gift or placing it on the table with who it goes to and your name.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask Kim Deal or Elizabeth Rowe.
 
CHRISTMAS DAY
We will have service on Sunday, December 25th at 10:00am.  There will be NO evening worship service.
 
ITEMS NEEDED
The O.C.C. ladies are collecting polo shirts and t-shirts (old, stained, torn, any color, any size, any motif) for making jump ropes to put in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for 2023.  Please put your donations in the OCC box located in the church library, or you can give them to Beverly Bliss.

Thanks for the beautiful flowers, prayers, cards, phone calls, and for the Food.  Everett loved the Lord and each and everyone of you.  He came to church a lot when he didn’t feel like it.  Thanks Pastor Paul for a wonderful funeral.  God Bless you!  Love you and all my family and church family.  Love,
